Preston Manor Artist in Residence: Angela McKay

Fiveways artist Angela McKay will be resident at Preston Manor throughout September. During that time Angela will be on site drawing in the various rooms of the Edwardian Manor, from the elegant family drawing room and bedroom to the servants’ quarters, kitchens and butler’s pantry. From her sketches Angela will produce an artist book. |

| Angela McKay is based in Brighton and exhibits her work in the Fiveways trail during the Brighton Festival of Artists Open Houses in May. In May 2007 Preston Manor took part in the Brighton Festival of Artists Open Houses for the first time showcasing work by local artists and this inspired Preston Manor to invite Angela to take up the first residency.
Visitors to Preston Manor can meet Angela and see samples of her work on Thursday 13 September 11am-1pm and Sunday 23 September 2-4pm.
Free with admission to the Manor.
